Daibokpara Sarbojanin Jagadhatri Puja Committee organises a free eye check-up camp every year. The organizers also distributed free medicines and lunch packs to the visitors in the camp.

This page is about ‘Daibokpara Sarbojanin Jagadhatri Puja’ or community worship of goddess Jagadhatri, the protector of earth, in Daibokpara, Chandannagar, West Bengal. Jagadhatri puja is celebrated with much pomp and grandeur in Chandannagar every year during the bengali month of karthik (mostly in November, according to the English calendar). 'Daibokpara Sarbojanin Jagadhatri Puja' is one of most popular community pujas of the numerous pujas that are organised in Chandannagar every year.
Since inception in the year 1973, we have come a long way to become one of the prestigious community pujas of Bengal and we take pride on that. We have attained a unique distinction by displaying our skills in the decoration of deity, pandals and exquisite lightning. Being located in a very convenient position, every year we witness a huge deluge of visitors who throng to witness our creativity. During all these years we have also made our mark by our performance in the grand procession with the idol and fantastic lighting for which Chandannagar is famous for, to mark the end of four day extravaganza every year.
We have also carved a niche in the overall organization of the festivity. We perform this festivity in accordance with guidelines set forth by the different civic administration authorities like fire brigade, electricity department, police and our patrons. Our achievement is quite evident from the different prizes that we have won during all these years from different awarding authorities including Chandannagar Central Jagadhatri Puja Committee.
Besides all these lights and festivity we perform our responsibility to the society as well, by distributing books to the children and contributing to surgeries and other medical emergencies to the poor and needy. In this regard we look forward to extend our services to other social activities like blood donation camps, medical camps etc. as our funds permit.
